The Interpreter reports to the Coordinator, Interpreter Services at Medical University Hospital Authority. The position facilitates communication for Spanish-speaking patients and healthcare providers, delivering oral interpretation and written translation between Spanish/Portuguese and English.

Candidates with medical interpreter experience are preferred. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Formación

• Written translation between Spanish/Portuguese and English required.
• Experience as a medical interpreter preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical interpretation for patient care issues.
