Qualifications

• Minimum 40 hours medical interpreter training.
• 1 year healthcare interpreter experience preferred.
• National Board Certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive, simultaneous, or sight translation between languages for patients and staff.
• Ensure confidentiality and informed consent per policies and ethics.
• Support department operations and performance of interpreters.
• Adhere to IMIA Standards of Practice and ethical codes.
