Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is seeking a Bilingual Medical Front Office Specialist for the Austin Hwy location. The role supports families from check-in to checkout and requires strong communication and calm demeanor in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

Responsibilities include managing check-in, verification of insurance, and payments while keeping accurate records. AHS BLS certification and ability to pass a background check are required; in-person, on-site work at the San Antonio clinic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoys working with children and families.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.

• Manage check-in, insurance verification, and payments without losing accuracy
• Explain wait times and next steps clearly and respectfully
• Juggle phones, walk-ins, and systems during busy shifts
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and protect patient privacy
• Work closely with clinical teams to keep patient flow moving

• Clinic Hours are as follows:Mon – Fri: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
• Opportunity to travel to other clinics as needed
