Job summary

Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is seeking a Bilingual Medical Front Office Specialist at Casa View. You will greet families, verify insurance, manage check-ins, and handle payments while keeping operations smooth.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are comfortable with children and families, hold current BLS certification, and can pass a background check. Travel to other clinics may be required; full-time seasonal role with schedule Mon–Fri 8:00 am–8:00 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be the calm, welcoming first contact for families.
• Manage check-in, verify insurance, and process payments accurately.
• Explain wait times clearly and coordinate with staff.
• Handle phones, walk-ins and EMR documentation during busy shifts.
• Protect patient privacy and support smooth patient flow.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to move patients efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Be the calm, welcoming presence families meet first
• Manage check-in, insurance verification, and payments without losing accuracy
• Explain wait times and next steps clearly and respectfully
• Juggle phones, walk-ins, and systems during busy shifts
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and protect patient privacy
• Work closely with clinical teams to keep patient flow moving

What We Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
