Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care in Bandera is seeking a Medical Front Office Specialist for the Bandera Clinic. The role involves greeting families, handling check-in, insurance verification, and payments, and coordinating with clinical staff to keep patient flow smooth.

The position is seasonal-full time with hours Mon–Fri and occasional travel to other clinics. Requires a high school diploma, AHA BLS certification, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• American Heart Association BLS certification (required).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be the calm, welcoming presence families meet first.
• Manage check-in, insurance verification, and payments with accuracy.
• Explain wait times and next steps clearly and respectfully.
• Juggle phones, walk-ins, and systems during busy shifts.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and protect patient privacy.
• Work closely with clinical teams to keep patient flow moving.
