Job summary

Staffing For Doctors in Miami is seeking a bilingual English/Spanish Front Office Medical Receptionist to support a busy clinical practice. The role focuses on handling high-volume calls, scheduling appointments, performing VOB, and assisting with prior authorizations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on VOB experience and is proficient with AthenaHealth EMR and ConnectUC. This is a full-time contractor position (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm EST, with a competitive pay rate

Qualifications

• Hands-on VOB and prior authorizations experience.
• Experience handling high-volume calls in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Familiarity with AthenaHealth EMR and ConnectUC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage a high volume of inbound calls (approx. 100/day).
• Schedule patient appointments and callbacks promptly.
• Perform VOB and submit prior authorizations using AthenaHealth EMR.
• Provide front-desk support and assist with patient inquiries.
