Responsibilities

• Greet patients, ascertain visit purpose, and update demographics and insurance in the EMR.
• Check-in and check-out patients accurately and timely.
• Verify eligibility, copy IDs and insurance cards.
• Obtain signatures and scan documents into the EMR.
• Answer questions and guide patients, anticipating needs.
• Collect and post patient co-payments.
• Screen calls and route messages; document them.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments, including transportation when needed.
• Call to confirm appointments and follow up as required.
• Manage special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as required.
