Qualifications

• One year of receptionist or call center experience required.
• Healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and EMR systems preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls on a multi-line phone system with excellent customer service.
• Schedule patient appointments per guidelines and use resources to meet needs.
• Educate patients on Living Water Clinic services and appointment requirements.
• Register patients and obtain/update insurance and demographic information.
• Follow up with patients and conduct outreach as assigned.
• Route calls to appropriate department or health center.
• Respond to questions in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Utilize EMR and other computer systems accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrate knowledge of registration procedures and available financial programs.
