Job summary

TrueCare in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor to lead day-to-day front and back-office operations and ensure compassionate, high-quality patient care.

You will oversee staff, implement workflows, and uphold departmental policies while supporting a mission-driven team focused on underserved communities. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Minimum of five years’ Medical Assistant experience.
• Minimum of two years’ supervisory or lead experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical laboratory procedures and healthcare operations and workflow.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Your Role & Impact

As a Medical Assistant Supervisor, you are responsible for providing day-to-day direct oversight and supervision of front and back-office staff, ensuring that they work effectively and efficiently in a care team setting with an emphasis on customer service and high-quality health care. The Medical Assistant Supervisor is also responsible for leading, planning and organizing the daily to monthly functions of the team as well as ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ Medical Assistant experience.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ supervisory or lead experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical laboratory procedures and healthcare operations and workflow.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• Bonus points if you have Behavioral Health experience.

The pay range for this role is $32.99 - $47.83 on an hourly basis (depending on relevant experience).
