ArchWell Health seeks a qualified Medical Assistant to support the PCP and care teams, greeting and rooming members, and assisting during appointments. The MA will help assess health conditions, perform routine diagnostic testing, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure efficient patient care.

The role emphasizes patient experience, accurate documentation, and following OSHA standards, with potential coverage outside the primary center as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training.
• Must be bilingual and pass formal proficiency exam as part of the selection process.
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 6+ months' phlebotomy experience is highly desired.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinical Works or similar EMR experience.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history; perform examinations and routine screenings.
• Critically listen and engage with patients throughout appointment and report changes to PCP or specialists.
• Perform tasks with a focus on patient experience, including handling patient calls and routing information to the physician.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures and other first aid procedures; assist with CPR when necessary under supervision.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and accurate documentation at all times.
• Provide health coaching and follow up with coached patients via weekly calls.
