Oak Street Health is hiring Medical Assistants to gather patient information, support clinicians, and ensure a smooth patient experience. You will help with vital signs, screenings, and documentation in EMR, while collaborating with care teams to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include administering vaccinations and point-of-care tests where allowed, coordinating with external providers, and maintaining stock and paperwork. 40 hours weekly, base pay with CVS Health incentive program.

Qualifications

• State or national certification or graduation from an accredited medical assistant course.
• 1 year experience as a medical assistant with EMR experience.
• CPR or BLS certification is required.
• Proficient with basic computer programs (Gmail, Word, Excel).
• Ability to communicate effectively in non-English languages as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow and take vital signs and screenings.
• Inventory supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Respond to patient requests for telephonic support and records.
• Administer vaccinations and perform point-of-care tests as allowed by state.
• Import documents into EMR and participate in care team meetings.
