Frontier Direct Care, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Austin clinic. You will educate members, support paired PCPs, and coordinate care with external providers to ensure quality patient experiences.

You will perform vitals, ECGs, phlebotomy, IVs, injections, and in-office procedures while supporting team operations and patient outreach. BLS certification or ability to obtain is required.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience working in a clinic setting.
• Experience providing care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
• Proficient at ECG/EKG, phlebotomy, IVs, and injections;
• Active BLS certification or ability to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Educate and empower members on using their Frontier membership.
• Work with paired PCPs to provide quality care to assigned patient panel.
• Coordinate provider needs to set up patient and provider for success.
• Coordinate with outside service providers (imaging, labs, specialists).
• Perform vitals, phlebotomy, IVs, ECG, and in-office procedures.
• Welcome members to the clinic and reassure them they are in good hands.
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure patients feel cared for and understood.
• Communicate with patients by phone, text, and email to personalize experiences.
• Restock exam rooms and manage inventory; maintain clinic cleanliness and organization.
• Represent Frontier at community events and health fairs to educate the public.
