Job summary

MyCare Medical Group invites skilled Medical Assistants to join our Texas team. You will support physicians in delivering clinical care, document patient information, and help with exams and procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include recording vitals, handling lab results, triaging patients, and ensuring accurate charting and communication with the care team. Experience with bilingual communication is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Basic medical terminology and safe vein puncture techniques.
• Comfort with clinical procedures and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients’ chief complaints and document observations in their medical record.
• Assist with examinations and treatment under physician supervision; document patient calls.
• Record vitals (height, weight, vision) and update medical records.
• Perform tests such as EKGs, spirometry, venipunctures, strep tests, and urine tests.
• Assist providers with injections, wound care, minor procedures, and pelvic exams.
• Maintain clean, stocked rooms and inventory; follow HIPAA and OSHA policies.
