Job summary

Frontier Direct in Texas is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our patient-focused team. You will work with paired PCPs, perform vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and in-office procedures, and help coordinate patient care.

Qualifications include at least 2 years as MA, clinic experience, pediatric care, and proficiency with EHR/EMR. Onsite assessment and BLS certification preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience working in a clinic setting.
• Experience providing care to all ages, including pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Educate and empower members on how they can use their membership inside and outside of Frontier.
• Be on a team and work with paired PCPs to provide quality care and service to patient panels.
• Coordinate and anticipate provider needs related to patient care.
• Perform vitals, phlebotomy, ECG/EKGs, IVs and injections.
• Assist providers with in-office procedures.
• Represent the facility at community events and outreach programs.
