Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and manage patient flow at the north Austin clinic. You will greet patients, take vital signs, and perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection in a high-volume office.

Qualifications include 1–2 years of direct patient care, a completing Medical Assistant program or CMA/CCMA/RMA preferred, and fluency in Spanish and English. Training is fully paid, with an initial Houston session for 1–2 weeks.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or in similar direct patient care role.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA/CCMA/RMA preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish & English.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Document vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical data in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection within scope of training.
• Document interactions and clinical information accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Leverage EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
• Support patient care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care, hospitals, or home health.
• Utilize bilingual skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
