Tiburcio Vasquez Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and patient services. The MA will work closely with Clinical staff to deliver quality care, manage patient flow, and maintain a welcoming front desk environment.

Strong communication skills, EPIC experience, and bilingual English/Spanish ability are valued. The role includes full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package reflecting the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMA certification required from an accredited school.
• BLS certification required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day administrative functions and general office duties.
• Provides information to Clinic callers and coordinates with central reception.
• Welcomes patients and directs them to the appropriate person or department.
• Schedules patient flow based on appointment arrangements and grant requirements.
• Adheres to clinic safety policies and maintains confidentiality per HIPAA.
