MAT Holdings, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Training & Development Specialist for our Jackson, TN facility.

You will design and deliver training experiences that empower teams, foster leadership, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role requires bilingual Spanish/English, 5 years of training/teaching experience (manufacturing preferred), and the ability to lead programs from SOP creation to on-the-floor coaching.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
• 5 years of experience in training/teaching; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and conduct training effectively.
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Bilingual communication — Strongly preferred Spanish/English fluency to support a diverse workforce.
• Training Program Design — Ability to build structured training programs, including JSTM content, certification pathways, and role-specific learning plans tailored to manufacturing operations.
• Manufacturing Process Knowledge — Understanding of production workflows, safety protocols, equipment operation, and quality standards to ensure training aligns with operational needs.
• On-the-Floor Coaching — Hands-on instruction, job shadowing, and real-time performance coaching in a fast-paced environment.
• SOP & Visual Aid Development — Create, revise, and maintain SOPs and visual work instructions for consistent performance.
• Skills Assessment & Certification — Evaluate competencies, conduct gap analyses, and manage certification/recertification processes.
• Training Data Management — Maintain training records and report status to leadership.
• Succession Planning Support — Partner with HR to develop IDPs and talent pipelines.
• Change Adaptability — Adjust training approaches based on priorities, new equipment, or process changes.
• Instructional Leadership — Lead group trainings and workshops to influence learning culture.

Education

Associate degree in Education, Science, Business

Bachelor's degree preferred
