BD is a leading global medical technology company focused on turning possibilities into realities. The Associate Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee production personnel and ensure safe, compliant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at our New Jersey site.

You will drive Lean initiatives, monitor performance, train staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards such as cGMP, FDA, ISO 9000. On-site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Bachelor degree required.
• 2 years experience within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises personnel and operations to meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Ensures adequate employee training and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintains direct contact with support departments to resolve day-to-day issues.
• Keeps records and issues reports to document area performance and inform management.
• Participates in Lean Thinking and CIP programs to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Evaluates employee performance and administers disciplinary procedures when applicable.
• Trains and certifies employees in manufacturing procedures.
• Ensures monthly schedule goals are met and well planned.
• Updates procedures for operation of equipment and implements new technology where feasible.
• Supports Lean Manufacturing strategies and identifies process improvements.
• Reviews manufacturing lines start-up, operation, labeling, packaging, release, and shipping logistics for proper flow.
