Job summary

Ultipro, based in the United States (Lake Zurich, IL), is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for managing recruitment, initial requisitions, hiring and onboarding for production direct and skilled-labor positions within our manufacturing facility.

You will proactively source candidates, attend job fairs, network with schools, and benchmark recruiting practices while leveraging UKG Pro HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, initial requisition, hiring, and onboarding of production direct and skilled-labor positions within our manufacturing facility.
• Proactively source candidates and develop industry contacts to minimize third-party recruiting costs.
• Seek out and participate in job fairs, network with schools and training institutions to recruit qualified candidates.
• Conduct talent acquisition practices and metrics benchmarking.
• Maintain recruiting activities in the UKG Pro HRIS (including job descriptions and requisition approvals).
• Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and inclusion.
• Train hiring managers on internal recruiting tools and onboarding processes.
• Work with the HR team on strategic HR initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Manage the recruitment, initial requisition, hiring, and onboarding of production direct and skilled-labor positions within our manufacturing facility.
• Proactively utilize recruiting and sourcing techniques and develop industry contacts to hire qualified individuals minimizing 3rd party recruiting costs.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, proven experience managing competing priorities, flexibility and creative thinking, and a willingness to get things done.
• Seek out and participate in job fairs/hiring events, network with schools/training institutions, and area resources to recruit qualified candidates.
• Conduct talent acquisition practices and metrics benchmarking.
• Manage the maintenance and execution of the recruiting activities in the HRIS system (UKG Pro including current job descriptions, requisition approval process and reporting.
• Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage in support of the company's diversity and inclusion strategic plan.
• Train hiring managers on internal recruiting tools and instruct hiring managers on the New Hire Onboarding Process.
• Work with the rest of the Human Resources team in the execution of ECHO’s Human Resources strategic initiatives.
