Job summary

ECHO is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage recruitment for production direct and skilled-labor roles at our Lake Zurich facility. You will proactively source candidates, build industry contacts, and partner with hiring managers to fill roles efficiently.

This role emphasizes equal employment opportunity, onboarding, and effective use of the UKG Pro HRIS for requisitions, descriptions and reporting. You will participate in job fairs and HR initiatives with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading recruitment for production direct and skilled-labor roles.
• Ability to build industry contacts and reduce third-party recruiting costs.
• Strong communication and prioritization skills.
• Experience with HRIS systems, especially UKG Pro.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, initial requisition, hiring, and onboarding of production direct and skilled-labor positions within our manufacturing facility.
• Proactively utilize recruiting and sourcing techniques to hire qualified individuals and minimize 3rd party costs.
• Seek out job fairs, network with schools and area resources to recruit qualified candidates.
• Conduct talent acquisition practices and metrics benchmarking.
• Maintain recruiting activities in the HRIS system (UKG Pro) including job descriptions, requisition approvals and reporting.
• Support equal employment opportunity, diversity and inclusion initiatives in line with company plan.
• Train hiring managers on internal recruiting tools and onboarding processes.
• Collaborate with HR team on implementing HR strategy.

• Manage the recruitment, initial requisition, hiring, and onboarding of production direct and skilled-labor positions within our manufacturing facility.
• Proactively utilize recruiting and sourcing techniques and develop industry contacts to hire qualified individuals minimizing 3rd party recruiting costs.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, proven experience managing competing priorities, flexibility and creative thinking, and a willingness to get things done.
• Seek out and participate in job fairs/hiring events, network with schools/training institutions, and area resources to recruit qualified candidates.
• Conduct talent acquisition practices and metrics benchmarking.
• Manage the maintenance and execution of the recruiting activities in the HRIS system (UKG Pro including current job descriptions, requisition approval process and reporting.
• Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage in support of the company's diversity and inclusion strategic plan.
• Train hiring managers on internal recruiting tools and instruct hiring managers on the New Hire Onboarding Process.
• Work with the rest of the Human Resources team in the execution of ECHO's Human Resources strategic initiatives.
