Job summary

FITS LLC in Puerto Rico seeks a Manufacturing Technician to operate and maintain equipment in our manufacturing area, upholding the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate holds an associate degree with two years in regulated industrial mechanics, is bilingual (English/Spanish), and can troubleshoot semi- and fully automated equipment, pneumatics, instrumentation, lasers, and vision systems.

Teamwork, safety, and ethical work practices are essential.

Qualifications

Associate degree required with 2 years in industrial mechanics in regulated industry.
Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
Experience troubleshooting automated equipment and supporting process improvements.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure high quality.
Monitor production activities, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvements.
Devise, fabricate, install, test and repair mechanical equipment and systems.
Assist engineers with technical solutions for devices and systems.
Install, repair, and upgrade mechanical components in the manufacturing area.
Assemble new or modified mechanical components for machinery.
Conduct quality assurance and control tests and procedures.
