Job summary

FITS LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support maintenance in the manufacturing area. The role requires an Associate Degree with 2 years of industrial mechanics experience in a regulated setting and bilingual English/Spanish.

You will monitor production, troubleshoot, and assist with process improvements while upholding safety and quality standards. The position involves operating and maintaining equipment, fabricating components, and helping engineers develop technical solutions.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree with two (2) years of experience in industrial mechanics within the regulated industry.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish).
  • Project Management skills.
  • Shift: Administrative shift, according to business needs.
  • Experience in: Troubleshooting semi‑ and fully‑automated equipment; Pneumatics, electro‑pneumatics, instrumentation, lasers, and vision systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to uphold quality standards.
  • Monitor production activities, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvements.
  • Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Assist engineers with technical solutions for devices and systems.
  • Install, repair, and upgrade components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
  • Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.
  • Conduct quality assurance/control tests and procedures.

  • The Manufacturing Technician is integral to the production process, responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment to uphold the highest quality standards.
  • This role involves monitoring production activities, troubleshooting issues, and supporting process improvements. With a focus on detail and safety, the Manufacturing Technician helps maintain the smooth,efficient operationofmanufacturing operations.
  • Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.
  • Assistsengineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.
  • Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
  • Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.
  • Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.
