Job summary

FITS, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician for the manufacturing area in Puerto Rico. The role requires an associate degree and about one year of industrial mechanic experience, with a non-standard night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting semi- and fully-automated equipment, pneumatics, instrumentation, lasers, and vision systems. The candidate will work from schematics and drawings, perform calibrations, and ensure systems function correctly, reporting

Qualifications

• Associate Degree with one year of experience in industrial mechanics within the regulated industry.
• Shift: Non-standard shift, and according to business needs.
• 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM.
• Experience in: Troubleshooting semi‑ and fully‑automated equipment; Pneumatics, electro‑pneumatics, instrumentation, lasers, and vision systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
