Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent including graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state license as LPN or LVN (or eligible)
• CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Aufgaben

• Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma and manage donor adverse events.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies including standing orders.
• Provide informed consent processes, AIDS education, confidentiality, and donor history interviews.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu) for employees when applicable.
• Manage occupational health/ER incidents and coordinate with EHS guidance.
• Assist as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs.
