Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, Onsite

We're seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to support ocean freight operations and coordinate shipments from booking through vessel loading. This role is ideal for someone who understands the full shipping process, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively coordinate between customers, trucking partners, terminals, and vendors.

The company frequently handles shipments from the U.S. to Puerto Rico, making Spanish/English bilingual skills a strong plus!

What You'll Do:

• Coordinate the full shipment lifecycle, including booking, pickup arrangements, dispatch, terminal coordination, and vessel loading.
• Communicate with customers, trucking companies, terminals, and vendors to ensure shipments move efficiently and on schedule.
• Monitor shipment tracking and tracing, provide status updates, and resolve transportation delays or service issues.
• Coordinate vessel load lists and reconcile expected cargo against cargo loaded.
• Manage intermodal transportation coordination and cargo release processes.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, customer profiles, and logistics data.
• Process customer invoices, accessorial charges, and vendor invoices.
• Track equipment usage and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Support applicable customs, export documentation, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

• Hands-on ocean shipping or ocean freight experience.
• Experience managing the full shipment process from booking through vessel loading/boarding.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including working with spreadsheets, sorting/filtering data, and reconciling shipment records.
• Experience coordinating with trucking companies, terminals, customers, and other logistics partners.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills are heavily preferred, particularly due to frequent U.S.-to-Puerto Rico shipments.
• Experience with billing, accounts payable/receivable, and accessorial charges is a plus.
