Job summary

Advia Credit Union in Portage, IL is seeking a full-time Loan Officer to proactively identify financial solutions for members, interacting in person and via phone. You will leverage services that save money and time while delivering exceptional service aligned with our core values.

You will cross-sell banking products, counsel on money management, and handle lending processes including HELOC and business lending.

Qualifications

• Experience working with customers in a financial services environment.
• Ability to identify needs and cross-sell applicable products.
• Familiarity with loan products and basic lending procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interview members in person or by phone to identify needs and explain services and policies.
• Counsel members on money management and lending decisions; communicate denials and future options.
• Perform lending functions and offer HELOC and business lending solutions.
• Build a book of business and manage a proactive pipeline to support members’ financial wellbeing.
• Assist with new account functions and enrollment in electronic services.
