Job summary

Acento Real Estate Partners is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team in the Washington, DC area. You’ll greet prospective residents, conduct tours, showcase apartment features, and match applicants with the perfect home.

You’ll qualify prospects, assist with applications, run background checks, prepare lease documents, and coordinate move-ins while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or Advertising preferred.
• At least 1 year of leasing experience required.
• Familiar with OneSite, MRI, or similar property management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, conduct property tours, showcase apartment features, and match prospects with homes.
• Qualify prospects, assist with applications, and process background and credit checks.
• Prepare lease agreements and move-in packages, inspect apartments before move-in, and ensure units are in excellent condition.
• Respond to resident service requests and provide exceptional support to current and prospective residents.
• Maintain an organized leasing office and ensure common areas are clean and tour-ready.
• Use property management software (OneSite or similar) to track leasing traffic, manage availability, and maintain resident data.
