Ashford Communities in Odessa, TX seeks a Bilingual Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance operations across our communities. You will lead a maintenance team, assign tasks, ensure timely repairs, and coordinate with the Community Manager on make-readies and CAPEX-related efforts.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, vendor management, and safety compliance. Travel to other Ashford Communities may be required; bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-4+ years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
• Heat Pump Experience.
• HVAC certification, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pools, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure and appliances.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
• Willing to travel and assist at other Ashford Communities as needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a background check.

Mansioni

• Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliance installation and carpentry.
• Inspect vacated apartments and restore to make-ready status.
• Re-inspect after make-ready to ensure quality.
• Perform emergency maintenance after hours as required.
• Coordinate make-ready units and move-in/out schedules.
