Job summary

Elliron Residential, LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping our Houston communities safe, functional, and welcoming. You will troubleshoot across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance systems, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with turnover of vacant units.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of on-site property maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of on-site property maintenance experience.
Bilingual English/Spanish required.
HVAC certification required.
Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, appliance repair, drywall, roofing, exteriors, and windows.
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely.
Willingness to wear required safety gear (back support belt, goggles, masks, gloves).
Full-time availability, 35+ hours/week, including weekends as needed.
Rotation on-call emergency coverage.

Responsibilities

Support Maintenance Supervisor in preventive maintenance and safety tasks.
Diagnose and perform minor repairs across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, appliances).
Inspect make-ready repairs and coordinate with staff to meet deadlines.
Coordinate with Community Manager on major repairs and expenditures.
Assist with moving heavy items and returning vacant units to market-ready status.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and notify supervisor of shortages.
Ensure work areas and storage are secure and organized.
