Job summary

Ashford Communities is seeking a Bilingual Assistant Manager for our Houston, TX community. You will support the Community Manager with day-to-day operations, leasing, marketing, and resident relations to drive occupancy and maintain financial records.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Spanish with at least 2 years in multifamily property management, strong customer service skills, and proficiency in key software like OneSite and Bluemoon. Some travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• At least 2 years of experience in the multifamily industry.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Superior customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient with office software and property management systems (OneSite, Facilities+, Bluemoon, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to close a sale.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed the monthly leasing goal of 4 leases to support occupancy and property performance.
• Handle delinquency notices and comply with company policies.
• Assist with leasing, marketing, and resident relations for the community.
• Prepare final account statements and provide accounting support to Management.
• Process invoices and create purchase orders with correct coding.
• Maintain asset tracking and monthly reports; assist with office tasks.
• Oversee leasing process from initial inquiry to move-in and ensure customer service quality.
• Provide coverage in Community Manager's absence and follow safety procedures.
