Job summary

The Lead Case Manager at NYAP’s La Jornada program coordinates case management and safe and timely release services, supervising and training case managers and ensuring relevant training on child welfare topics on-site.

Travel as needed to provide services to youth and families, maintain strong relationships with foster parents, and support program staff in safety assessment and crisis intervention.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field required.
• 3+ years supervisory/case management experience with youth/families preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate case management and safe, timely release services.
• Supervise, mentor, and train the case management team.
• Travel as needed to provide services to youth and families.
