HYUNDAI-POSCO Louisiana Steel in Baton Rouge, LA, seeks a professional accountant to lead tax, close, and financial reporting within a multi-function team. The role requires bilingual English/Korean, strong ERP and MS 365, and ability to collaborate across operations and external auditors to ensure compliant, timely results.
On-site work with standard hours; CPA/CMA preferred and knowledge of US GAAP beneficial.
Professional working proficiency in both English and Korean is required.
The Tax ensures accurate, timely, and compliant accounting, close, reporting, and financial-control processes with guidance. The role works across HPLS functions and external partners to deliver safe, compliant, timely, and sustainable results during project execution and ongoing operations.

The standard work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, work hours may be changed or adjusted based on operational, project, commissioning, emergency, or business needs. This position requires on-site work and is not eligible for remote work. Work is primarily performed at the Baton Rouge location and may include office, construction, commissioning, and/or operating-plant environments depending on assignment. Must be able to comply with site PPE, security, and safety requirements; travel between HPLS locations and vendor, partner, or project sites may be required.
