NORC at the University of Chicago is seeking on-site Telephone Interviewers to conduct surveys in Albuquerque, NM. This intermittent, part-time role requires Spanish-language proficiency and strong communication skills as you call respondents, administer surveys, and record answers in real time.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, speaking and writing in English and Spanish.
• Comfortable speaking with respondents in a call center setting.
• Able to sit and use a headset and keyboard for several hours.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Gain cooperation of respondents over the phone to complete surveys.
• Administer surveys using a pre-written script.
• Record survey answers verbatim and maintain neutral communication.
• Assist respondents with customer service questions and account inquiries.
