Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish certification preferred but not always required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the district's instructional philosophy and develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum.
• Prepare lessons for diverse learning styles and TEA guidelines.
• Conduct learning style assessments and plan instructional activities.
• Collaborate with the special-education teacher to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides and volunteers; use technology to enhance learning.
• Assist in analyzing student progress and planning interventions.
• Create a learning environment that supports physical, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain open communication with parents and conferences; present information clearly.
• Participate in staff development and maintain required records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
