Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District is seeking an Elementary Teacher - Bilingual (Spanish) to promote student academic growth in our elementary schools. The teacher will report to the building principal and will work in a professional, exempt capacity for 188 days.

Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, using technology to enhance learning, and collaborating with special education staff to meet IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or Teaching Certificate from out of state appropriate for position.
• Content exam and Science of Teaching Reading exam requirements met, if applicable.
• Certification must meet requirements for becoming and remaining qualified for this position in a manner required by Federal and/or State law.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum requirements.
• Prepare lessons with accommodations for different learning styles per TEA guidelines.
• Assess student learning and adapt instruction; collaborate with special education staff as needed.
• Plan and supervise assignments for teacher aides and volunteers; use technology to enhance learning.
• Establish open communication with parents and staff; maintain professional relationships.
