Job summary

Baptist Health International is seeking an experienced International Patient Services Coordinator to coordinate intake, transfers and financial coordination for international patients at our Florida facilities. You will handle inquiries, verify insurance, and work across departments to ensure smooth access to care.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in a revenue-driven healthcare setting, fluency in English and Spanish, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a revenue-driven, high-volume environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic medical terminology.
• Willingness to cover shifts during business hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake for international patients to support Baptist Health International revenue efforts.
• Coordinate transfers, admissions, and service for international patients seeking emergent/acute care.
• Liaise with financial guarantor for emergency transfers, explain financial responsibility and collect deposits.
• Respond to inquiries from potential international patients, coordinating medical, insurance and payment needs.
• Verify insurance benefits and complete patient access and revenue functions with documentation.
• Follow up on new business leads to increase revenue opportunities and ensure timely completion.
