Job summary

Lorien is seeking an International Logistics & Trade Compliance Agent (Contractor) based at IAH Airport in Houston, TX. Qualifications

• Professional business fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in international logistics, import/export operations, customs compliance, or freight forwarding.
• Experience coordinating international shipments and customs processes across multiple countries.
• Proficiency with shipping and trade documentation (invoices, AWB, declarations, permits).
• Experience with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport badging and U.S. Customs Seal.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound international shipments of technology equipment.
• Prepare, review, and validate shipping, customs, and compliance documentation.
• Support customs clearance, inspections, and import/export activities.
• Track shipments and resolve transportation or customs-related issues.
• Serve as the primary liaison with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain shipment records, compliance documentation, and logistics reporting.
• Support technology deployment projects requiring international equipment movement.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and operational efficiency.
