Lorien is seeking an International Logistics & Trade Compliance Agent (Contractor) based at IAH Airport in Houston, TX. The role coordinates cross-border shipment of technology equipment, handles customs clearance, and ensures compliance with import/export requirements across Latin America and other international locations.

• Experience coordinating international shipments and customs processes across multiple countries.
• Proficiency with shipping and trade documentation (invoices, AWB, declarations, permits).
• Experience with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport badging and U.S. Customs Seal.

Position Summary

Seeking an International Logistics & Trade Compliance Agent to support Digital Technology (DT) operations across Latin America and other international locations. Based at IAH Airport (Houston, TX), this contractor will coordinate cross-border movement of technology equipment, support customs clearance activities, ensure compliance with import/export requirements, and work closely with vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, carriers, and Field Service Delivery teams.

Spanish business proficiency is required. The successful candidate must be able to confidently communicate, write, and conduct business in both English and Spanish with internal teams, vendors, and government agencies throughout Latin America.

Required Qualifications

• Professional business fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in international logistics, import/export operations, customs compliance, or freight forwarding.
• Experience coordinating international shipments and customs processes across multiple countries.
• Strong understanding of shipping and trade documentation, including commercial invoices, air waybills (AWB), customs declarations, and import permits.
• Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse providers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport badging and U.S. Customs Seal.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting technology, telecommunications, aviation, or IT hardware logistics.
• General knowledge of Latin American customs and import regulations.
• Experience supporting customs nationalization and clearance activities.
• Familiarity with inventory, logistics tracking, or ERP systems.
