Job summary

Aeronet is hiring an Operations Agent in Houston to support international and domestic shipment coordination. The role involves handling client requests, coordinating shipments, preparing quotes, and managing documentation to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2–3 years of experience, and strong verbal/written communication along with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency. This is a full-time, on-site position in Houston.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of experience preferred but not mandatory.
• TSA background/drug screening may be required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected.

Responsibilities

• Client services: respond to requests via phone or email to fulfill service needs.
• Coordinate shipments (air, LCL, FCL, break-bulk) and update shipment status.
• Handle quotes and obtain competitive pricing for client requirements.
• Manage import/export documentation and cost capture.
• Input data in Aerotrac and generate client reports as needed.
• Close invoices ensuring revenue and cost accuracy within 72 business hours of POD.
