Job summary

Gina Gonzalez State Farm is seeking a bilingual, customer-focused Insurance Customer Retention & Sales Representative to join our growing team in South Elgin, IL. This full-time, in-office position requires English and Spanish fluency and licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health (or eligibility to obtain them).

You will balance customer service with sales, identify needs, quote and close policies, and contribute to a supportive, growth-oriented team culture.

Qualifications

• This role requires fluency in English and Spanish for customer interactions.
• Licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health are required or must be obtained.
• Prior insurance, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to English- and Spanish-speaking customers.
• Assist with policy changes, billing questions, renewals, and coverage inquiries.
• Conduct proactive customer outreach and policy reviews.
• Resolve concerns with patience and professionalism.
• Build trusted relationships to strengthen loyalty and retention.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up.
• Identify customer needs and recommend insurance solutions.
• Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other products.
• Generate business through referrals and follow-up.
