Job summary

State Farm Insurance Agencies in Tempe, AZ seeks a bilingual Insurance Generalist fluent in Spanish and English for sales and customer service. The role balances helping customers with identifying growth opportunities and requires the ability to discuss coverage options confidently.

Experience in insurance is preferred, but training is available for the right person with the right work ethic and personality. Licenses may be obtained if needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
• Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain one is required.
• Life & Health license or ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Balance sales and customer service responsibilities.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and recommend appropriate insurance products.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive follow-up.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
• Assist customers with policy changes, coverage questions, billing inquiries, transfers, and other insurance-related needs.
• Identify cross-selling and additional coverage opportunities within the existing customer base.
• Follow up with prospects to develop new business and strengthen relationships.
• Educate customers on available insurance products and coverage options.
• Meet or exceed established sales and service goals.
• Maintain accurate customer information and documentation.
• Deliver a professional and positive customer experience in both Spanish and English.
