Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products, headquartered in Hicksville, NY. We seek a front-line Sales/Customer Service coordinator who will handle quotes, orders, returns, and inquiries, while supporting the Outside Sales team and coordinating deliveries.

The role emphasizes a proactive sales mindset, bilingual communication in Spanish/English, and strong relationship-building with customers and vendors. Flexibility for overtime and a Monday–Friday schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service experience required, with a strong focus on building relationships and driving sales.
• Proactive sales mindset, including opening new accounts, upselling, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Positive attitude and strong customer-first approach.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, with ability to communicate with diverse customers.
• Industry experience in construction or building materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for price quotes, orders, returns, cancellations, product information and availability.
• Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives.
• Coordinate delivery and pick up of orders with operations teams.

What you’ll do

• Receive and process requests for price quotes, orders, returns, cancellations, product information and availability, billing inquiries, and corrections
• Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives
• Coordinate delivery and pick up of orders with operations teams
• Provide support to Outside Sales team
• Adhere to pricing guidelines and policies of customer financial services

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Saturdays every other week, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT as needed.

What you’ll bring

• Sales and customer service experience required, with a strong focus on building relationships and driving sales

• Positive attitude and strong customer-first approach
• Previous front-line customer service and sales experience
• Industry experience with construction or building materials a plus
• Office management or administrative experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
• Ability to effectively communicate and follow-up with customers, vendors, team members, and management
• Eagerness and ability to learn and retain vast amounts of product information
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
• Motivated self-starter with a desire for long-term career growth and advancement
