Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, is seeking a full-time customer service and sales support role in Alexandria, VA. You will receive and process requests for price quotes, orders, returns, and product information, and assist with billing inquiries.

You will coordinate delivery with operations and support the Outside Sales team. Flexibility in schedule with early start (6:30am), Monday–Friday, and potential OT/weekends.

Qualifications

• Front-line customer service and sales experience.
• Industry experience with construction or building materials a plus.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus.
• Ability to communicate and follow-up with customers, vendors, team members, and management.
• Eagerness and ability to learn and retain vast amounts of product information.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for price quotes, orders, returns, cancellations, product information and availability, billing inquiries, and corrections
• Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives
• Coordinate delivery and pick up of orders with operations teams
• Provide support to Outside Sales team
• Adhere to pricing guidelines and policies of customer financial services

What you'll do:

• Receive and process requests for price quotes, orders, returns, cancellations, product information and availability, billing inquiries, and corrections
• Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives
• Coordinate delivery and pick up of orders with operations teams
• Provide support to Outside Sales team
• Adhere to pricing guidelines and policies of customer financial services

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday.
• 6:30am until work is done, around 4:15pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT/weekends as needed.
