Job summary

QXO is a leading distributor and installer of building products, serving a massive market across North America. This role is based in San Jose and focuses on delivering excellent customer service while driving sales, processing quotes and orders, and coordinating delivery with operations teams.

The ideal candidate will have frontline sales experience, industry knowledge, and strong communication skills to support the Outside Sales team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and process price quotes, orders, returns, cancellations, product information and billing inquiries.
• Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives.
• Coordinate delivery and pick up of orders with operations teams.
• Provide support to Outside Sales team.
• Adhere to pricing guidelines and policies of customer financial services.

What you'll do:

• Receive and process requests for price quotes, orders, returns, cancellations, product information and availability, billing inquiries, and corrections
• Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives
• Coordinate delivery and pick up of orders with operations teams
• Provide support to Outside Sales team
• Adhere to pricing guidelines and policies of customer financial services

What you'll bring:

• Previous front-line customer service and sales experience
• Industry experience with construction or building materials a plus
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate and follow-up with customers, vendors, team members, and management
• Eagerness and ability to learn and retain vast amounts of product information
