Job summary

Marine Home Center in Nantucket is seeking an Inside Sales Support team member to provide administrative, estimating, customer service, and project assistance to the Building Materials sales department.

This role collaborates with contractors, builders, designers, homeowners, and vendors to prepare accurate estimates, quotes, and order coordination, while maintaining CRM records and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and bid documents to support estimates and proposals.
• Perform material takeoffs and budgeting for windows, doors, millwork, hardware, and related projects.
• Generate quotes, bids, estimates, proposals, and related documentation.
• Provide technical support including design drawings and product specifications.
• Assist customers with product selection and project requirements.
• Maintain product knowledge across building material categories.
• Coordinate timelines, orders, and deliveries to support customer deadlines.
• Communicate with vendors on pricing, availability, and lead times.
