Job summary

Woongjin, Inc. is seeking an Inbound Billing and Settlement Staff who is bilingual in English and Korean to manage settlement related to freight forwarding.

The role reinforces relationships with customers and carriers through proactive communication and prepares regular settlement reports for management and headquarters. The ideal candidate has AR/AP, invoicing, or logistics experience, a bachelor’s degree, and is proficient with MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in AR & AP, invoicing, customer service or transportation/logistics.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Ability to grasp situations quickly to make decisions and resolve problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication across organization levels.
• Proficient with Outlook and Microsoft Office apps (PowerPoint, Word).
• Proficient with Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Settlement related to freight forwarding business.
• Reinforce relationships with customers and carriers via effective communication.
• Prepare regular settlement status reports for SDSA management, customers, carriers and headquarters.
• Improve settlement processes by developing automated solutions to reduce manual work.
• Process customer billing accurately by deadlines per division policy.
• Manage and prepare correction forms for billing in Access database.
• Review freight documentation supporting charges and payments.
• Audit carrier freight bills and interpret tariffs and contracts.
• Collaborate with internal technologies for daily functions.
• Investigate potential errors and duplicate billing.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting as required.
• Perform other related duties.
