Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to serving diverse client populations.
• Language: Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish.
• Computer skills including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, legal research tools, and case management software.
• Research skills: analyze immigration law and apply authority to strategy.
• Organizational skills for high-volume, sensitive immigration matters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file comprehensive affirmative immigration applications (family-based petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, humanitarian, citizenship).
• Conduct thorough client consultations and intake interviews.
• Maintain respectful communication with clients, courts, and government agencies.
• Draft and refine legal documents, declarations, exhibits, and packages.
• Represent clients during USCIS interviews and proceedings with preparation.
• Maintain organized files and ethical case management.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on immigration issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and firm standards.
• Collaborate with paralegals, staff, and attorneys for efficient workflow.
