Green Evans-Schroeder is seeking an Affirmative Associate Attorney to join our immigration practice in Tempe. You will work with a seasoned team on family-based, humanitarian, and employment-based matters, developing advocacy and case strategy in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

We provide mentorship, training, and ongoing professional growth as you handle filings, interviews, and complex cases with guidance from partners and senior attorneys.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Spanish language proficiency required.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, legal research tools, and case management software.
• Ability to research immigration law and apply legal authority to case strategy.
• Strong organizational skills to manage high-volume immigration matters.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file affirmative immigration applications including family-based petitions and processing.
• Conduct client consultations and intake interviews.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, court staff, and government agencies.
• Draft and review legal documents, letters, and exhibits in a clear, organized format.
• Represent clients during USCIS interviews and proceedings.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper files and conduct in-depth research.
• Ensure compliance with ethical obligations and professional standards.
• Collaborate with paralegals and other attorneys for timely case progression.
