Job summary

Step Up Family Services is seeking an Intensive In-Community (IIC) Therapist in Dover, NJ. Provide in-home and community-based therapeutic services to youth and families, developing treatment plans and delivering interventions to address behavioral health needs.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, collaborating with families and the treatment team, and maintaining licensure and credentials. Flexible schedules support after-school and early evening hours with travel within the service

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field required.
• Experience in community-based or in-home services preferred.
• Experience with trauma, autism/developmental disabilities, substance use, or complex behavioral needs valued.
• Newly licensed clinicians encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work independently in community settings and collaborate with teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to engage youth and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Reliable transportation and travel within service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide Intensive In-Community therapeutic services to youth and families in homes and communities.
• Conduct regularly scheduled sessions based on clinical needs and goals.
• Develop, implement, review, and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver interventions addressing behavioral, emotional, and family needs.
• Engage youth and families as active participants in treatment and progress.
• Monitor client progress and adjust approaches as needed.
• Collaborate with parents and treatment team to ensure continuity of care.
• Complete required clinical documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain professional boundaries and ethics; comply with standards.
• Travel to assigned clients within the service area.
