Job summary

Step Up Family Services is seeking an Intensive In-Community (IIC) Therapist to deliver in-home and community-based therapy to youth and families in New Jersey. The role emphasizes treatment planning, hands-on clinical work, and collaboration with families and the treatment team.

The position offers flexible scheduling with caseload opportunities across Essex County and surrounding areas, plus licensure support and ongoing supervision for eligible clinicians.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey professional license: LSW, LAC, LCSW or LPC.
• Experience with youth, families, and community-based or in-home services preferred.
• Experience with trauma, autism/developmental disabilities, substance use, or complex behavioral health needs valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide Intensive In-Community therapeutic services to youth and families in their homes and communities.
• Conduct regularly scheduled therapeutic sessions based on identified clinical needs and goals.
• Develop, implement, review, and maintain individualized Treatment Plans.
• Deliver clinically appropriate interventions addressing behavioral, emotional, and family needs.
• Engage youth and families as active participants in treatment and support progress toward goals.
• Travel to assigned clients within the clinician's geographic service area.
